3 years on, and i realised that i still have a lot to learn. feeling a bit sian now, because i honestly haven't been too on top of things the last few months. lots of backlog due to teletubby. a heap of procrastination and a dose of inertia. that just equates to BAD BAD BAD.
have been liaising with surveyors from the different companies for a while now, and while i'm pretty well versed with the panama flagstate requirements, i can't say the same for class. all the while i've been doing very superficial work with class. i just know when and where to request for surveyors/surveys, extensions, issuance of certificates etc. i didn't know that certain surveys can be credited to another, in fact, i still don't know a lot of things.
but i guess this is what makes learning awesome. you don't know, you ask, you learn. and the most important part of learning, is to have humility. or humbility. whatever rocks your canoe. without that, you will never be able to fully immerse yourself in learning. pride and ego are what prevents us from being potentially great.
there's so many things to do really. and instead of complaining this time round, i'm just going to bite my teeth and finish all my things. and i'm going to be doing a damn good job at that. enough of this!
in other news: touch has really been awesome. and i really think that i'm improving! :) heh. in fact i think the girls and i are all improving. and the turn out has been fantastic. people rockin' up as and when. coupled with the regular groupies.... AWESOME.
long weekend ahead... nice... getaway... nice... :)
i wonder if sometimes we are being made use of without knowing that we are being made use of, until we outlive our usefulness. hmmmm... where will we be after that? used and abused? and what of the people who have made use of others? will they be better off, or more enriched? would they even feel guilty (most likely not)? and what of karma? will it happen? does it happen? ok. please ignore the ramblings. :P
